Over 1 million of you experienced our history project But unfortunately due to a lack of funding this year, we can no longer pay the photographic licenses and must shut down RememberTheWar. We hope you enjoyed it. Over the year that it existed, RememberTheWar served up 4TB of data and over 1,010,000 visitors. If you are in a position to help us fund this project again (we'd love to do version two), please let us know. If you enjoyed this site while it existed, let us know on Facebook! — Harry & Phil

Experience the history of World War II in a whole new way. The world must know what happened, and never forget.

A History of conflicts.

UPDATED (14/3/214)
Thank you for visiting conflicthistory.com May 21, 2013 After 5 years of visualizing thousands of conflicts, conflicthistory.com stopped working. The data sources have been changed and it used old web technologies, like Flash. We are looking for ways to relaunch the project. Kind regards, Thimon

ConflictHistory is an interesting mashup that combines a timeline of world wars with their geographical location and presents this data on Google Maps. The timeline starts from 3000 BC and covers all conflicts up to the 2005. You would be surprised to see the amount of conflicts the world has had just in the last decade.
